Quite a GORGEOUS feeling – standing ON TOP of the winners’ stand! Here, Chichi and me have won the 2009 Desert Challenge for our X-Raid BMW-Team!

But that’s not all! Above all, together with our capable TEAM, we gained the victory in World Cup in Rally Raid-series 2009.

Last year I became ‘historical’ in the Middle East, when I raced together with Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyha (Quatar), for the moment being the best known sportsman there. In the year 2008, we won two World Cups, one in the Desert series and one in Fias Baja. In this constellation there has been only ONE successful motoring team in the world! For the fact, that we succeeded, I give the credit and my thanks to Nasser’s mother for upbringing her son not to have prejudices, when it comes to his co-drivers’ colour of the skin, sex or religion.
In 2009, we also had the leading position in the Dakar Rally in South America, when we, unfortunately, had to drop out during the sixth stage. My career in motor-ports began in 1990. Since then, I have gained three victories in Ladies’ World Championship and two rank 2 in Gr. N. Rally World Championship. My most outstanding qualifications are rank 2 and rank 3 in the famous and arduous Dakar Rally. Today, I exclusively race for the X-Raid Team, based in Trebur (Germany).

Eventually: maybe my most famous drivers throughout the years have been Collin McRae, Jutta Kleinschmidt and Ari Vatanen. In addition, I have navigated for about twenty international drivers. Do you want to know more about my career? Well then – please, click on Co-Pilot.
