NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is a concept of powerful and simple attitudes, models and techniques for personal development and efficient communication. It is based on what we call ‘modelling’. This means, we study, how successful people act, think and feel, when they succeed, where others do not. We create models and techniques, which can be trained and used by others. This is my explanation of NLP. I attended this course in order to supply myself with more tools, which could contribute to my own development. Being a result-focused human being, who aims at reaching goals, this has been of great importance for me. Today I use this concept in my own life and in my coaching.
A concrete description of NLP:
- Make up your mind – what do you achieve?
- Do something/anything to approach your goal
- Pay attention to coming closer or getting further away
- If necessary, change your behaviour in order to approach the attained results
NLP consists of methods to simplify the process: from viewing your goal to becoming more efficient, to increase your attention to the results you get, and to change your behaviour, until you get what you want.
